Join me in supporting real change. Let's help Serenity Living Transitional Home (SLTH) as they continue to offer housing, life skills classes, money management classes, workforce readiness classes, and on-the-road drivers education classes to young women and girls that are either aging out of the foster care system, suffering from homelessness, or in need of safe-supportive housing.
Did you know that young girls in the PA Foster Care System have an increased risk of homelessness on their 18th birthday?
Are you aware of the increased number of young women ages 18 to 23 that are in need of housing but do not qualify for most housing programs due to their lack of a pre-existing mental health diagnosis? They may not be survivors of domestic violence, or have a drug and alcohol addictions. Therefore, they typically do not qualify for housing support.
This is why I support Serenity Living Transitional Home. They offer housing and so much more to young ladies in need. These young ladies typically find themselves in need of housing due to no fault of their own and do not qualify for other housing programs. SLTH serves a population that is often times overlooked. You know the old saying, "bad things sometimes happen to good people." Well, SLTH serves those people by giving them the tools needed to overcome their obstacles to success.
I am asking that you join me by giving $10 a month for 10 months ($100 for the year of 2020). However, if that is not possible, please give what you can. Remember, no gift is to large or small to fight this fight for young women and girls in need.
Thank you for your support!
