Hi all,

I wanted to do something good and make the world a better place. So, when I found out that during the 2016-17 school year, 1,445 people were identified as homeless in Allegheny County, I knew I had to help.

That's why I created a fundraiser to support Serenity Living Transitional Home. Their campaign supports their housing and mentoring program for homeless girls and young women. SLTH merges supportive services, stable housing, workforce readiness, drivers education, and life skills services to provide the foundation for hope and change. The success of this campaign means 20 youth between the ages of 16 and 23 will participate in on-the-road drivers' education, life skills, and workforce readiness training and 6 young women experiencing homelessness will be provided with subsidized transitional housing with supportive services, FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR!

I just started a fundraiser for Serenity Living Transitional Home (SLTH)! Would you help me reach my goal of getting 10 people to donate $10 each month for 10 months? That's right! Your friends and/or family members would donate $100 all at once or over a 10 month period of time to help homeless girls and young women receive housing and supportive services. Serenity Living Transitional Home offers services to youth/young adult women that have voluntarily enrolled in the program for their own betterment. SLTH is poised to work with young adult women in at-risk communities. SLTH combines supportive services, stable housing, workforce readiness, drivers education, and life skills services to provide a foundation for hope and change. #10.10.10
